Thanks for our reply. I did some research and found an od behavour in my files. If I create a new word file with the file properties filled in and saved as PDF with the office function it also saves the file properties. If I did the same with my files I have hundreds of these , the file properties are not saved. I cannot tell the difference.

When I use this plug in it saves the doc. However, Acrobat Standard does not have a batch feature. I also checked your file, which looks very good.

It is an improvement on the macro I used to test this probably Greg's and should be what I need. But it also does not save the file properties in my documents unfortunatley.
