Even keeping things close would come as a solid building block for the tough league schedule just ahead for the Ramblers. I might have to go back over the roster to remember who is on the team this week.
Petoskey returned to action against Sault Ste. Mackinaw City was one of a few teams around the area that actually kept things going a bit longer into the winter break and actually got a test out of it with a win over a good Brimley team.

Mercy at Sheehan, Wednesday, 6: It is never too early to start jockeying for position in crowded SCC, both of these teams off to good starts on the season.
Hamden at Hand, Wednesday, 7: Both teams are relying on underclassmen with very solid sophomore classes. Of course, Hand also has talented seniors in Sophia Copolla and Brooke Salutari who could swing the balance in this one. Northwestern at Nonnewaug, Friday, 6: Nonnewaug has jumped out to a start but has yet to play one of the other top teams in the Berkshire, until this one tips off. Copyright Scripps Media, Inc.
